We are looking for an Electrical Engineer experienced in designing Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies. Is that you? Test & Simulation is responsible for the development of production test systems for Vestas. The department develops test systems for all aspects of the turbine for example electrical switchboards, converters, generators, nacelles etc.

For this position we seek an Electrical Engineer experienced in designing Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for making concepts and electrical design of our test systems, for the Vestas factories. You will act as an anchorpoint torwards external and internal suppliers supporting and guiding them in constructing the systems you have designed. Furthermore, you will participate in onsite supervision of the installation and erection activities.

Responsibilities:

• You design, specify and develop electrical systems for test of our turbines
• You develop and describe concepts for test equipment
• You create final documentation and user manuals
• You ensure quality assurance of your deliveries
• You supervise and guide internal and external electricians during the construction phase
• You coordinate the sub suppliers in your projects
• You ensure that the installation and erection of our equipment complies with our guidelines
• If necessary you are present onsite coordinating our installation activities

Qualifications
You are educated as Electrical Engineer or Marine engineer and you have at least 2 - 3 years of experience from a similar position.
Furthermore:

• You have knowledge to EU standards and legislation within electrical design.
• You have a natural interest in, and knowledge to CE marking of machinery
• You are well experienced in the theories behind designing and dimensioning electrical systems
• You are experienced in working hands on with electrical systems
• You have experience in reading electrical diagrams and documentation
• Knowledge to UL standards is not a requirement but will be an advantage

Additional information
Primary work location will be in Hammel, but work on our other locations in DK must be expected in shorter periods.
Travel activity will vary depending on our projects. Approximately 40 days of travelling abroad must be expected.
