As part of the ElectricalInstallation Services Department of FLSmidth’s Customer Service in Valby youwill be deployed to our sites all over the world, supervising installation andcommissioning our equipment to customers in the cement and minerals industries. Detailed Description Getresponsibility from day one It will be your responsibility to make sure the electricalequipment works on the factories that we build. In order to ensure this you jobwill incl.: Instruction and supervision of clients and contractorsin relation to the erection of our equipment Handling of electrical installation tools and softwaresystems Interpretation and use of technical documentation Feedback and reporting on quality issues As your experience grows you can look forward to beingresponsible for not only single machinery, but the electrical equipment in acomplete cement factory department – or maybe even an entire plant. You will bepart of an electrical team of 75 multicultural Electrical Field Engineers, whoperform the crucial on-location engineering tasks that the rest of the FLSmidthorganization depends upon. Cement and Minerals plants are often located inremote places, this mean that you will not be a sightseeing tourist but anintegrated part of large-scale engineering challenges often located in areasyou would never have dreamt about you should experience. You will enter aninternational career with approximately 250 annual travel days meaning that thechance of being away from home during Christmas, you uncles 60 years birthdayand your best friend's wedding is rather high. Job Requirements · Ability to handle multicultural challenges You probably completed your electrical engineeringdegree or Academy Profession Degree Program in Service Engineering within thelast few years and have a great desire to start a global career. You are morethan willing to experience the world, are able to understand local clientrequirements and can combine your theoretical knowledge with hands-on problemsolving, when things do not go according to plan. Whilst being on the road mostof the year is probably the best way of accelerating your career withinFLSmidth, be aware that it is not the best foundation for starting a family.Naturally, you are proficient in English and well-founded on the MicrosoftOffice platform.
