About the department We are part of Device Research that manages the early phases of innovation in Device R&D, and we are located in Hillerød. We are a small newly started team of creative and strongly committed employees, both mechanical and electronic engineers. It is our responsibility to ensure that Novo Nordisk also in the future will be ready to offer competitive and attractive prefilled injection devices. The position Your primary task will be to contribute to the conceptual design of our future prefilled devices, focusing on making new innovative solutions suited for high volume production. This includes design of low price, low power integrated mechatronics systems. A big part of your job will be to coordinate development activities with our external development partners. This requires high degree of collaboration, both with your colleagues in the department and in other parts of the organisation, as well as with our external partners. Qualifications You hold a degree within electronics engineering or similar. Other relevant qualifications are experience with integrating electronics into consumer and/or medical devices, wireless communication technologies, low price electronics, sensor technology, low power electronics and emerging technologies. You are expected to have a creative mind-set and a high personal drive. This role requires good communication and interpersonal skills as you will be working in a team with colleagues and external partners of different educational background and nationality. This also requires that you are proficient in English. You are a team player by nature with the ability to work independently with a practical and result-oriented ‘can-do’ attitude. You must be prepared to invest significant personal effort in your work and process the ability to drive yours and others tasks by proactively take ownership of your areas of responsibility.
