Can you develop our electronics production processes, support our production IT systems and test equipment, move production lines from one vendor to another and ensure a strong focus on quality and delivery performance? Do you like to maintain and update productions test equipment? Can you help to make sure we live up to the regulatory standards for medical devices? The Job As part of Global Operations, GN Otometrics is looking for an internationally experienced Electronics Production Technician/Engineer. You will be reporting to the manager of Production Engineering. Your work place will be at our assembly and test facility in Denmark, but since the majority of our production takes place at suppliers around the World, an important part of the job is to cooperate with suppliers outside Denmark. Key Tasks of are: • Develop/optimize/maintain manufacturing-, test- and calibration- equipment and processes, for both outsourced and local production of audiology equipment. • Move production-manufacturing lines from one vendor to another. • Analyze / optimize manufacturing processes. • Manage / participate in LEAN cost- and process optimization projects. As part of the Production Engineering team you will be working closely together with the Supply Chain-, Production-, Purchasing-, R&D- and Quality-departments. You will be one of the most important and direct links to suppliers. The position involves some traveling to production sites in Asia and Europe amounting to approximately 30-50 traveling days a year. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a experienced elektronic technician or has a relevant degree in Electronic Enginering and preferably a high knowledge about electronic/mechanical manufacturing processes. You have 5-10 years of practical experience, preferably with electronics, audiology and/or lean manufacturing. You have been working in a larger international company producing in a regulated industry (pharma, medical devices or the like). You have build up a usefull toolbox that you use to deliver good results in your analysis and project execution. Fluent verbal- and written communications skills in English is a must, as well as good IT-skills like mastering National LabVIEW software platform, MS Office and ERP systems (preferably Axapta) and other relevant IT systems within your field of experience. Personal Competencies: • You are passionate about electronics production, test equipment and IT systems. • You are self-driven and can work on your own, driving small/middle size projects. • You are structured and pay attention to details. • You believe that results are best accomplished in a team. • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where changes happen all the time. • You have a proactive attitude and take on new tasks with a good attitude. • You know how to cooperate respectfully with suppliers and colleges. You will be working in a fast growing organization, where the attitude is ambitious but always respectful and open-minded.
