Become a part of the Technology Communication team in Kamstrup
Kamstrup is a world-leading manufacturer of solutions for smart energy and water metering with production, administration and development gathered at the headquarter in Stilling, south of Aarhus. We innovate and manufacture software solutions for smart metering on a global market.

As part of our Technology Communication team, you will be joining a team with an open culture, profound knowledge and empowerment to act. We design and maintain communication products for Kamstrup’s smart metering solutions both wired and wireless. As Embedded Software Developer, you will be working both in project teams and with individual scheduled tasks with interfaces towards different teams in the organization.

A position influencing future software solutions
Global presence in Smart Metering solutions is a core stone in the Kamstrup strategy, and you will play an important role in executing the strategy creating embedded software for our communication technologies and products. As our products are sold globally, our communication products and solutions require a large portfolio of communication technologies, which all depends on embedded solutions. Hence, your approach to and thorough knowledge of robust communication software is essential.
Specifically, we are looking for embedded software competences within the cellular domain.

You will be working with defining and implementing communication technologies specifically from an embedded software perspective. You need to master both a practical and theoretical approach to the solutions you create, and qualify them in real life situations. Your daily work will be focusing on C based software for various cellular communication platforms.

As you already master the low-level embedded software application environment in C, you will on a daily basis work within the range from new product design and development, feature level product enhancements to bug hunt and fixing.
Moreover, knowledge and experience with Python as test environment as well as other coding languages than C is an asset.

You have at least five years’ experience within the field of embedded software designs and have an engineering degree to support it, most likely a B.SC or M.SC.

You are fluent in English – both orally and written. Danish will be an asset, but not a requirement.
