Sennheiser Communications is looking for an embedded software developer for the development of next generation wireless products. Hands-on development and coordination tasks In this role, your primary responsibilities will be in-house embedded software development and coordination of outsourced SW activities. Key technologies will be Bluetooth, USB and IP-based/mobile telephony accessory protocols. Projects are typically led by the Danish headquarter, where they are conceptualized and developed in cooperation with our global partners. As part of bigger multi-discipline R&D teams you will contribute making cutting-edge audio products. You will specify, design, implement, and test software. In particular, you will be involved in: •Embedded software development in C. •Debugging of embedded systems. •Integration of software modules into internal platform •Development of protocol software, primarily Bluetooth and telephony standards •Test automation development. •Interface to outsourced SW-development partner •Product specification in cooperation with product management and project leads. •Continuous contact to other competence fields to ensure interdisciplinary consensus. Passion for embedded software Preferably, you are a candidate with skills in the following fields: •Embedded C programming •Experience with Agile development •Script languages, Python is considered an advantage •Data protocols, Bluetooth and USB is considered an advantage •Ability to communicate with, and control, outsourcing partners •Be an outgoing team player, used to work with many interfaces •Proactive learner who can quickly get an overview over complex software issues •Excellent communication skills in written and oral English; Danish is an advantage •Valid Danish residence and work permit required.
