For the Diagnostic Centre in the Service Wind Power headquarter in Brande, we are looking for a talented engineer to be a part of our team developing the future condition monitoring systems for our fleet of wind turbines. The Diagnostic Centre is overall responsible for the surveillance and diagnostics of our wind turbines worldwide. As a consequence, the department also handles the operation and maintenance of the group’s hardware (computers and servers). What are my responsibilities? As an engineer in our Vibration Diagnostic department you will take part in shaping the future of wind turbine diagnostics by being responsible for the continuous development of new diagnostic models, which includes the improvement of existing measurement equipment, and optimizing our tools for reporting. In this work you will be in contact with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. More specifically, your work assignments will cover: Development of new diagnostic models and analysis software tools. Optimization and development of existing monitoring software based on statistical analyses of production data. Developing intuitive and informative reporting solutions to customers based on a large set of fleet data. Conducting root cause analyses. Responsibility for specific investigations linked to the root cause analyses of our wind turbines. What do I need to qualify for this job? You are an engineer with some years of technical experience within the fields of signal processing, machine learning, machinery dynamics, acoustics, vibration diagnostics or the like. In your career, you have gained experience in statistical analysis and profound knowledge about scientific programming (MATLAB, Python etc.), preferably from an industrial enterprise. You have an analytical and innovative mindset, and you are not afraid of working with terabytes of data. As a person you always seek to improve existing technologies and invent/develop/apply new technologies. You are highly result-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team. It comes naturally to you to build and maintain good and rewarding relationships. Furthermore, you possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
