Engineer for a Team Leader Position for the Development of Automotive Catalysts and Technology

Would you like to develop catalytic gas cleaning technologies for cars and trucks in a global and expanding environmental company? We offer a challenging position in R&D in our Automotive Department. We are 60 engineers and technicians working on the development and optimization of heterogeneous catalysts and catalytic processes for the cleaning of exhaust gases from power plants, refineries, the chemical industry and diesel vehicles. Our department works with product design, process design, production and sales & marketing of automotive products. Our DeNOx catalyst (SCR) already has a considerable market share for trucks and you will join a project group entrusted with the important task of developing, test and validate the next generations of catalysts for exhaust treatment systems required to meet future automotive legislation. As a team leader, you will manage a group that work in the field of testing and validation. Your responsibilities - Team leader for technicians and operators - Responsible for the operation of test units - Participate in catalyst development projects - Planning and supervision of laboratory tests - Being responsible for maintenance, calibration and MSA - Expand and improve existing test capacity - Develop and improve test protocols of new catalyst - Training of existing and new employees. You - Have a management experience - Like to take initiatives - Are structured and highly motivated - Possess excellent technical skills - Enjoy practical challenges and go for results - Have good communication skills and are able to interact with many different people. Qualifications You are a qualified chemical engineer (MSc or PhD) or equivalent with a strong background in process technology and catalysis. Experience from the automotive industry will be considered an advantage as well as experience in managing a team. Excellent skills in written and spoken English are required.
