Would you like to strongly influence the look and feel of new LEGO Bricks and thus have a direct effect on children's play experience? Then join us as part of the development process in a position where you will function as the link between design and production. Negotiate your way to optimal technical design of the LEGO Bricks As part of Technical Element Design, you focus on developing new LEGO Bricks in development projects. Here, you are the link between designers and production, and your role is to use your technical skills to achieve the optimal technical design of the LEGO Bricks using CAD (Siemens NX). You will play an integral role in development projects, where you: Contribute with technical expertise regarding development of bricks with respect to ensuring Design for Manufacturing balanced with the needed innovation level. Identify the best production setup based on both technical and financial considerations in close cooperation with a Technical Project Manager. Ensure that specifications are updated and live up to standards to secure quality and form a solid basis for the production. Create the CAD foundation and carry out the technical documentation. Interpret and implement quality requirements, as product safety is key. Talented technical designer and process facilitator You have a passion for finding and developing great technical solutions. Using your collaborative nature and understanding of manufacturing issues in relation to plastic moulding, you are able to successfully facilitate constructive dialogues between design and production to bring about the optimal technical design solutions. Moreover, you: Preferably have an Engineering degree, and experience in plastics is a plus. Preferably have knowledge of product development, injection moulding or construction. Take pride in delivering high quality results and you have an eye out for continuous improvements. Understand your customers and are good at supporting expectations regarding demands, quality and delivery. Communicate effortlessly in English - both in speech and writing.
