In Alfa Laval, we are experiencing global growth and increasing order intake of projects within the area of refining and modifying vegetable oils and starch. We are therefore looking for a Group Leader for our global Vegetable Oil (VOT) & Renewable Resources (RR) team with central base in Copenhagen, Denmark. Engineering & Supply (E&S) is a global support organization committed to deliver professional project management and engineering within a wide range of applications and industries. We have employees in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, US, China, India, Brazil, Malaysia, Mexico and Italy. As a Group Leader in E&S VOT & RR team, which consists of xx, you will be responsible for managing our project engineering activities in close cooperation with our project managers. Key tasks ?Allocation and management of resources in projects in close cooperation with project managers and lead engineers ?Driving and refining engineering workflow methods, tools and standards (continuous improvement) in order to maintain optimal performance of our engineering process ?Resource coordination of our commissioning activities on a global scale ?Promoting our engineering standards, tools, and work methods in our global Vegetable Oil Technology Network Ideal candidate ?Chemical or mechanical engineering degree ?Experience with project management for complex process plants ?Experience with project engineering workflow as a discipline such as main equipment list, M&E balances, P&ID´s, layout, specifications, functional descriptions, isometrics, Bill of materials, etc. ?English at negotiation level (both written and verbal) ?Self-driven, structured, systematic, and open-minded person, who is able to convert ideas into operational solutions in cooperation with his/her team ?Able to “sell” ideas, commit and motivate others ?Good communication and negotiation skills ?International orientation with cross-cultural awareness ?Professional but informal in contact with others, enjoying high level of daily interaction with stakeholders.
