M&A Execution & Valuation Manager for Novozymes’ M&A team Novozymes’ Corporate Mergers & Acquisition and Post Merger Integration team (M&A) is part of Business Development and our mission is to deliver significant new businesses to Novozymes and to facilitate successful integration. We do this by working with line of business to identify attractive business areas, screening for and evaluating targets, actually executing M&A transactions as well as preparing for and facilitating post-merger integration. For our M&A team we are looking for a talented execution & valuation manager to own the execution process across M&A projects. We offer a unique opportunity to gain insight and exposure to the special dynamics of business development and acquisitions within a highly technical environment (mainly industrial and agricultural biotechnology). Your primary tasks will be to manage the valuation, business planning and due diligence processes with relevant internal parties. In addition, you will be coordinating activities with external parties, and you will be preparing decision material for Novozymes’ Executive Management and Board of Directors. You will have day-to-day management responsibilities of two student assistants. In this position you need to: have at least two years of working experience as a valuation and financial modelling expert as well as the capacity to clearly articulate such valuations. Preferably, you have worked in a corporate, consulting and/or investment banking environment have a proven track record and a relevant Master’s degree with excellent results, e.g. within finance/investments be very structured, have strong analytical skills and be an expert user of Excel and PowerPoint be dedicated, credible and result-oriented with a high degree of personal integrity and business/commercial sense engage in project management of large cross-functional due diligence teams be able to intelligently navigate in our networked company culture You will be based in Bagsværd, and you will report to Katrien Beuls, Head of Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions and Post Merger Integration.
