Do you have senior BI experience and can you handle 20+TB of data from 50+ data sources? Would you like to bridge business and IT while collaborating with lots of creative colleagues in a company that still has the entrepreneurial start-up spirit intact? About the Job As our new BI Consultant, your main responsibility is to maintain our BI systems and datawarehouse as well as create reports for our Data Analysts. You collaborate closely with our experienced BI Consultant and other colleagues in e.g. Game Designing and Marketing, and you mentor our programmers (who set up simple ETL). Moreover, you will occasionally be assigned DBA tasks or assist on ad hoc basis with database responsibilities or projects. We are an informal organisation with no set processes. So with us, you get to shape the content of your job within its framework and take on more responsibility if you want. Also, we are in rapid growth and constantly changing, so if you need new tools or come up with smarter ways of working, we are ready to try your suggestions. Finally, we use Microsoft SQL Servers and Tableau. About You You love delving into numbers and have the rare DNA mix that combines technical flair with business acumen. Being open, patient and cooperative, you are positive and happy to share your knowledge with others. Large and complex data sets are your specialty, and you thrive creating overview and sense of information in a fast-paced environment. Your qualifications include: - 3+ years of experience with BI and working with large data sets from e. g. a gaming or retail company - Being great at SQL - Knowledge of or experience with ETL, MS BI Tools, Tableau or other reporting tools - Speaking and writing English effortlessly, as half of your colleagues do not speak Danish About Us MovieStarPlanet ApS is the company behind MovieStarPlanet.com, Boonieplanet.com and RoboBlastPlanet.com - games and social networks for tweens aged 8-15 years.
