Novo Nordisk has initiated a project to build a new factory in Måløv. The factory will supply the market with a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) analogue formulated in a tablet – a break-through in diabetes treatment. About the department The department is newly formed and covers several areas, each key to establishing a functional solid dosage form manufacturing facility. The department is responsible for building and qualifying the new manufacturing facility, procuring and implementing bulk and packaging process equipment as well as preparing for the first product to be manufactured. The department is part of CMC Development. The job You will play a key role in our business critical efforts to establish a fully operational manufacturing facility. You will participate actively in all aspects from equipment acquisition until the equipment is fully operational and qualified. To ensure that our project time lines and deliverables are met you will have a close collaboration with suppliers, project team members and departments in Novo Nordisk. Your main focus will be the primary and secondary packaging processes through development, qualification and documentation of the production processes and equipment until the facility is ready for production. Your team will test and validate processes and equipment, and along with your colleagues, you will define and document operating procedures ensuring effective operation in GMP compliance. It will be your responsibility that new equipment and the process meet our strict specifications, and you will be guiding external suppliers towards this goal in close collaboration with your colleagues. Since you will be structuring large parts of the blister or packaging processes in the new facility, you will after the project phase become an important player in the production of GLP-1 tablets. When the facility is ready for production, much of your time will be spent on the production floor, and your dialogue with operators and technicians will be crucial to problem solving and the optimization of processes. Qualifications You are a pharmacist, engineer or possess a strong scientific background in your former employments on a documented high level. As you have to provide manufacturing input to the project teams from almost day one, solid experience within manufacturing from blister or packaging is a must. You have worked with GMP. We expect you to excel at following through at a steady pace. You enjoy chasing sharp deadlines in a changing environment, and you are consistent in coming up with clever solutions to specific challenges.
