About the department The Formulation Innovation Department is responsible for the development of new differentiated products that add value for farmers. This group has a key role in Cheminova's strategy to deliver new products which are more efficient, less toxic and which meet the society’s requirements for less impact on the environment. The job Your role as a Formulation Scientist involves formulation design and development, from the ideation until the generation of Registration Dossier documentation. You will guarantee physical, chemical and AI stability of the formulation at the prototype level that meet customer's needs. You will work in global project teams and have daily interaction with key stakeholders such as Formulation Support and Scale-up, AI Development, Analytical & Biological Development, Product Registration and Portfolio Management. You will keep up to date with new formulation technologies and will collaborate with external research groups and suppliers to create innovative products. Your qualifications You hold a Master degree within Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or similar field. A PhD or related experience is an advantage but not a requirement. You have minimum 8 years of experience with development of agrochemical formulations and you possess strong knowledge about surfactants, polymers and solvents and their influence on agrochemical formulations. On a personal level you have an open, customer- and result driven mind-set, which often put you in the project leading role. At the same time you also thrive on being the inspirer and guide to colleagues and stakeholders. You have excellent English oral and written communication skills.
