Lokation DK - Smørum Oticon is a large, growing company in the medical-technical industry where our +450 engineers are all committed to deliver well-made, high tech solutions for hearing impaired people worldwide. Electronics integration and development You will become part of Oticon’s R&D amplifier group consisting of 25 highly dedicated and experienced engineers. The group is responsible for developing the electronics part of Oticon’s hearing aids, using generic platform components and solutions. Your area of responsibility will cover all steps from initial specification to handover for mass-production. Main tasks are: •Integration of analogue and digital electronics onto PCB •Integration of wireless (2.4GHz) functionality in hearing aids •Coordination of development activities within the group, reporting to the project manager •Design and layout for EMC robustness •Verification of electrical, wireless and EMC performance It would be desirable, if you have experience from using EM/RF simulation. Do you see a match? You have +5 years’s experience from integrating electronics into commercial products – probably holding a B.Sc or M.Sc in Electronics Engineering. Preferable you have a strong experience from: •Customer driven product development •Driving electronics design and integration of components into complete PCB solutions •Solving EMC issues using EM field simulation As part of your role consists of coordinating activities, it is important that you have good interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate and promote information across the organization in a clear and motivating way, in order for all to meet their defined goals.
