Our HVAC segment is rapidly growing, and we are seeking new talent to expand this important segment. We are looking for a technical engineer with extensive experience in international HVAC design in international shipbuilding, to be based at our office in Helsingør, Denmark. The candidate should have all aspects of HVAC design process and project management perfectly mastered. After an integration period, he or she will assume a key role within our HVAC segment, making significant contributions to the development of design solutions and becoming an integral part of the HVAC segment development process. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE • Will hold a BSc and/or MSc degree in marine engineering, with a minimum 10 years’ experience in HVAC design (study office and shipyard experience is needed) • Should be able to manage a design team and be a reference in terms of HVAC design solutions (innovation, energy optimisation and cost improvements) • Perform all types of calculations (heat loads etc.) and create drawings (one line diagrams, coordination etc.) using AutoCAD platforms • Should be able to provide temporary on-site technical support or/and supervision • Should be able to perform inspections and surveys to evaluate installation requirements (refits, trouble shooting, modifications) • Should be prepared to travel internationally, according to the requirements of individual projects • Is expected to reside near Helsingør, Denmark, or be willing to relocate in order to take up the position WE ARE OFFERING • Competitive salary, matching qualifications and experience • A position in a rapid growing segment • A multicultural work environment, organized in dynamic teams • Flexible working hours Please submit your application to: contact (at) knudehansen.com HVAC Marine & Offshore Solutions, Design & Consultancy We handle HVAC assignments on new builds, refits and conversions and can offer support for every stage of the design, build and installation process with services that include general consultancy and project management as well as core design and engineering.
