Javascript Developer With UX Experience
Spain-Holiday has a small, focused web development team in Horsens, Denmark. A flexible and relaxed workplace in a respectful environment, we work with an international focus on renting out holiday homes in Spain. Our day-to-day operations teams are based in Malaga, Spain.
We're looking for a Javascript Developer with plenty of experience to complement our current team of web developers.
The position primarily involves Javascript, CSS and HTML, working with AngularJS, jQuery, gulp, Bootstrap and LESS. Understanding of .Net MVC would help a lot as well.
As a growing organization, Spain-Holiday is looking for a specialist in client side technologies to complement our team of mostly full-stack developers. If you have .Net experience, all the better, but for this position, we're primarily after the sharpest frontend developer to take our 13 websites to the next level. We offer flexible working hours and the option to work from home, when needed.
Simple Best Practice
At Spain-Holiday, our overall strategy is to “Keep It Simple”, so our architecture on is not very complex. Our sites have over 12 million visitors per year, still growing per market and to new markets.Your task would be to not only develop client-side code, but also bring best practices to our organization, in terms of how we work most efficiently and how the code performs.
MVVM And MVC.
Spain-Holiday's sites are based on an MV* structure using AngularJS, which calls our server-side API for data. These are the core competences we are looking for:
- AngularJS
- HTML5
- CSS3 (Bootstrap framework)
- gulp (if you have experience with Grunt, that's fine, too)
- JSON (RESTful API consumption)
- ..any additional frameworks you have experience with
