- Research & Development - Denmark - Måløv Experienced Process Scientist for new Solid Dosage Forms manufacturing facility. Do you want to be part of establishing a new facility for manufacturing of solid dosage forms? Novo Nordisk has initiated a project to build a new factory in Måløv. The factory will supply the market with a GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) analogue formulated in a tablet a break-through in diabetes treatment. About the department The department is newly formed and covers several areas, each key to establishing a functional solid dosage form manufacturing facility. The department is responsible for building and qualifying the new manufacturing facility, procuring and implementing bulk and packaging process equipment as well as preparing for the first product to be manufactured. The department is part of CMC Supply. The Job You will play an absolute key role in our business critical efforts to establish a fully operational manufacturing facility. Across your tasks and projects you will therefore have a close collaboration with different project team members and departments in CMC Supply, thereby ensuring that our project time lines and deliverables are met. Your primary focus will be challenges related to implementation and qualification of solid dosage form process equipment and preparing for process validation. Your responsibility includes providing process and production input to qualification and production documentation and to the layout and general setup of the manufacturing facility. You participate in definition of acceptance criteria and test methods and secure that the requirements of the manufacturing process are met and the link to the process development package is secured. You actively participate in all aspects of equipment acquisition from meetings with suppliers until the equipment is fully operational and qualified within the manufacturing facility. You may also execute your own test protocols to close whichever gaps that might arise in our knowledge. As the project progresses you may be a driving force and centre of knowledge when production documentation needs to be completed. All of these tasks you perform comfortably either individually or within a team. Qualifications You are a pharmacist, a chemical engineer or possess a strong scientific background in your former employments on a documented high level. As you have to provide the tablet manufacturing input to the project teams from almost day one, solid experience within manufacturing of solid dosage forms is a must. This experience has been obtained from either working in production or through process development. You have worked with GMP. In addition you are knowledgeable of statistics, statistical process control and Design of Experiments.
