Trade Finance Systems is a part of Nordea IT Wholesale Banking. We provide robust and cost efficient IT development, maintenance, operations and support service for Trade Finance Infrastructure. Our team is global and we have external partners located in India. We are looking for a positive and structured Senior IT analyst to support us in a wide range of activities incl. strong contribution to the Trade Finance technology architecture development. The position we offer You will be part of our Trade Finance Systems team responsible for ensuring stable and high quality operations as well as ensuring continuous improvement of our Trade Finance (TF) core systems. The focus of your role will be in development activities of our TF solutions and supporting the TF technology architecture work. You also support business with various IT services. You will co-operate actively with our stakeholders in business and IT throughout the whole value chain. You contribute to development of the TF solutions technology to ensure our competitiveness in the long term and to ensure fulfilment of regulatory requirements. For a successful candidate this position can be a stepping stone towards IT architect role within coming years. We are a Nordic team with members in Finland and Denmark. This position can be placed either in Finland or Denmark. The qualifications you need You have at least 7 years of experience in IT, including systems development, technology and operational IT. We are looking for a team member who enjoys working with highly complex systems and IT environment. You have strong technical skills and you have knowledge and proven track record in some of the following areas: •Unix/Linux environments with working experience in relational databases (especially Oracle and DB2) •IBM Mainframe area •Web Services •MicroFocus Cobol •IBM DataStage •Weblogic application server •Tuxedo middleware We appreciate if you have already gained solid experience in banking and financial services. You may also have basic knowledge of the IT architecture work. You need to be able to work independently but you are also a team player who is able to coach and support your colleagues. You are a proactive person who wants to 'make things happen'. Excellent communication skills are a key to success in our broad and international daily working environment. Your educational background is a relevant Bachelors/Master's degree. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
