Curious and internationally minded colleagues with legal background wanted for Vestas' new Copenhagen office starting in the fall of 2014. Finance, Legal, Risk & Contract Review Legal, Risk & Contract Review is part of the Vestas group level Finance set-up with colleagues also reporting to the Vestas CFO in Treasury, IT, Investor Relations and Tax & Compliance. The Legal, Risk & Contract Review team currently counts 50+ employees located primarily in Denmark and the UK - and app. 25 of these will per end of 2014 have their place of work in Copenhagen. The department responsibilities are wide ranging from the more classical legal, IP and Patents, risk management, security and CSR as well as a contract review function focused on group wide sales and service contracting. Responsibilities: Contract Review works to secure the quality in contracting activities from early customer contact to contract signing, ensuring our supply and service contracts live up to Vestas’ defined policies, values and goals. As part of the Contract Review team your tasks will include: Review of complex sales transactions generated by Vestas´ sales units, including integrated evaluation of legal, economic, and technological risks Close collaboration with Vestas' global sales organization Contribution to continuous improvement of Vestas' contracting standards Involvement with business stakeholders within Group Functions, Sales and Production Business Units as well as external legal advisors and others Providing advice enabling Vestas' Executive Management to make final decisions in sales transaction matters Qualifications: You hold a Master degree in Law, Commercial Law or similar and have at least 5 years' work experience from a global organization or as attorney-at-law working with international clients You have extensive experience with large scale international supplier contracts and advisory at management level - experience with EPC or Turn Key contracting will be considered an advantage As our corporate language is English, you need to be fluent in English both orally and in writing - additional language(s) will be considered an advantage Competencies: You have a natural interest in legal, financial and technical disciplines and their interaction in sales transactions You have a systematic approach and strong analytic skills as well as the ability to communicate with people at various organizational levels You have the ability and personality to drive and lead change in a global organization.
