We are looking for an Expression Specialist to join our team and be the one setting new and high standards for the pictures VERO MODA delivers. Are you the one to take VERO MODA's visual expression to new heights?

About the team

You will join VERO MODA's Photo team, which is part of VERO MODAs Marketing department. Your future team will consist of your Team Leader, 6 photographers, an Expression Assistant and a Marketing Assistant. The photographers are shooting pack shots, creative- and model images for VERO MODA and other BESTSELLER brands. In collaboration with various stakeholders, we work ambitiously and hard towards reaching our goals; however, there is plenty of room for laughs, and we highly value the informal tone in our department

About the job

As our new Expression Specialist, you will be responsible for art directing, styling and producing most of the imagery for VERO MODA. This means that you will have overall responsibility with regards to ensuring that our images always portray the VERO MODA brand DNA.

More specifically, your focus areas and tasks will include the following:

• Art direction where you will find the balance between commercial images and fashion images - always with point of departure in the latest trends and tendencies
• Being involved in the early stages of a shoot/concept idea with relevant stakeholders, including planning, ensuring the right props and location scouting
• Making briefs and mood boards for photographers before a shoot, so they at all times know the concept and direction we are aiming for
• Taking the lead on our photoshoots, including styling and selection of images to be sent to retouch
• Retouching commenting, saving and informing about finalised images
• Constantly improving and developing our expression in pictures while meeting deadlines and quality expectations based on close cooperation with relevant stakeholders
• Ensuring that our team of photographers are always familiar with the image directions in general that has been set for VERO MODA.

You can expect trips in relation to photo shoots - both short distance and internationally - in order to achieve the perfect results for each shoot.

Qualifications

• Background or education within fashion/styling
• Proven experience with styling/ creative art direction from a similar role
• Knowledge of Adobe tools.

Since working hours can be varied in connection with photo shoots, we need you to be flexible in terms of working hours.

Your personality

You are creative, innovative and curious by nature, and you have a huge interest in fashion. You have a good taste and can see yourself in VERO MODAs DNA, which you will put to use when developing VERO MODA's look and feel and making it just right and appealing to our fashion-conscious consumers.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can apply your great coordinator skills. You take responsibility and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done. Furthermore, you are highly organized and detail-oriented. You are open-minded and does not shy away from asking questions and considering feedback from colleagues and partners in order to secure continuous improvement and development. In relation to this, you are outgoing and able to work together with people from various professional and cultural backgrounds.
