Business Support is an integral part of improving the business and therefore we have Business Partners for all business areas. The role is important in supporting the business in achieving their goals, and assuring that Finance parameters are sufficiently included in decision making and evaluation. The success criterion is to achieve the acceptance from the business that you operate as an integral part of their business and at the same time manage the Business Support governance role. Therefore it is very important to understand the processes of a project oriented operation, and it is an advantage to know of the Buildings sector in particular. The role is supporting an organization with a turnover of approx. 700 MDKK and 700 employees. Your responsibilities as Finance Business Partner You will be part of the Business Support Finance organization based in Copenhagen and you will report directly to the Director of Finance. You will support the Buildings business area. You will coordinate structures and principles with the other Business Partners and coordinate resource and activities with the Business Controller team leader. We expect you to: •Support the strategy and budget processes for the regional directors •Coordinate and manage the Bbudget and forecast follow up processes for the Business Area •Support and direct the ongoing financial evaluation process at regional and dept. level to ensure proper reflection of financial results •Support regional and dept. managers in their business development •Act as sparring partner for project managers, especially in complex and risky projects. The Business Partner must ensure that knowledge is amended as necessary and relevant experience in relation to centrally accumulated knowledge. •Participate in the Project Steering committee for larger projects •Participate in tenders where necessary. You must expect some travel in Denmark, especially to the larger cities. You and your competencies To succeed in this position you hold a relevant Master degree eg. Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration, Master of Economics or similar. We expect you to have significant professional experience +8 years, and fluent English, spoken as well as written, is a prerequisite. As a person you are self-driven and take responsibility for actions and projects in own area. You have a business focused approach and structure information to meet the needs and understanding for the intended audience, be it top management, colleagues or other stakeholders. We expect you to make rational judgments from the available information and analysis. You produce workable solutions to a range of problems and demonstrate and understanding of how one issue can be part of a bigger picture. You establish timely assessment of risk and opportunities and transform these into improvement of solutions. Join the finance department The Business Support Finance department consists of 42 people, organised in an accounting department and a controlling department. The teams provide transaction processing to the Danish legal entities and support the legal structures of the holding and mother companies. We provide reporting, analysis and finance decision support to Group Functions, Global IT, and most of the Business Areas. In addition we support local and global M&A activites on an ad hoc basis.
