Drive a finance agenda within IT

In IT, we are on a journey as we move towards an agile delivery methodology. This comes with a big spend. Thus, we need you to take operational and tactical ownership of the budgets and processes, focusing on process improvement. Your role will be an extended layer to LEGO Finance but much closer to our IT activities. This means you can drive a much closer collaboration with stakeholders as well as challenge and gain insights into the purpose of each spend area.

Interacting with the entire LEGO® organisation, you will be in charge of designing the interactions around financial processes in IT as well as driving an alignment and education across the organisation. Your aim is low budget deviation and transparency on our actual and planned spend. Essentially, you will:

• Secure control and transparency in IT budgets, drive estimations and improve and maintain budget planning

• Act as go-to-person for technical financial matters

• Be in charge of financial processes such as month-end and year-end activities, booking, improvement initiatives, etc.

• Work closely with a strategic finance business partner and act as the operational counterpart

A finance function within IT

You will join the team Technology Asset Management within IT. We are 13 colleagues aiming to secure, drive and support IT budgets, drive compliance and optimisations around software, hardware and consultancy services. Our journey to improve and optimise the deliverables and processes is constant.

Thus, we are moving from being transactional to becoming tactically and strategically oriented through an agile methodology. And trusting you to make decisions, do what is right and get things done to the highest possible quality, we will help you make the most of your skills and reach your potential.

A finance major who challenges the status quo

As you will be the go-to-person for financial matters in IT, it is important that you can create trust and collaborate with colleagues. Also, you thrive working with data and numbers to gain valuable insights. And being curious and analytical by nature, you are not afraid to ask questions, challenge us and bring new ideas and insights to the table. You focus on delivering value, and you are not afraid to act or speak up if you find a smarter way to do things. Your qualifications:

• Most likely, you have a master´s in finance or business combined with a couple of years of experience, perhaps within controlling, accountancy or from a consultant firm

 • You are an Excel super-user

• It is a plus if you have previously worked in SAP

• You are fluent in English
