Copenhagen / Temporary / Finance-Accounting / Ref.: MO-078679 Corporate Technology and Projects (CTP) is seeking a dedicated finance professional for a maternity cover position. We Offer You will report to the Head of Secretariat in CTP and work closely with our Finance department. The position is a one-year maternity cover. The Corporate Technology and Projects (CTP) department is responsible for field development activities and for building and maintaining Maersk Oil's technological excellence within petroleum engineering, drilling, engineering and project management. Maersk Oil is an international oil and gas company with operated production of about 650,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day offshore Denmark, UK and Qatar, as well as onshore Kazakhstan and Algeria. Exploration activities are ongoing in Angola, Brazil, Norway, the US Gulf of Mexico, Greenland and in producing countries. Key Responsibilities The key responsibilities will among others be: • Prepare controlling and the rolling forecast process for CTP as well as various analysis • Support project controlling and internal work orders are raised in compliance with procedures • Assist with the daily financial management work as well as accounting and controlling • Performing monthly analysis of actuals with variance explanations • Follow-up on bookkeeping entries and invoices handling on a daily basis • Follow-up on the monthly time-writing process • General support to the CTP department wherever possible • Ensure high quality and reliable handling of all processes Who we are looking for The secretariat is a service focal point for the approximately 200 employees in the department, making the tasks both varied and many. We are looking for a person that is service-minded, can work independently and focus in a busy environment. You need to be detail-oriented and have good SAP knowledge and Excel skills. As the company language is English, a high English proficiency is expected.
