Would you like to take up the exciting challenge of supporting our Markets business with financial reporting and forecasting? Join DONG Energy and become Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst in Business Partners Markets. The team supports the Vice Presidents in the Markets division with follow-up on the financial statements, forecasting for both the short and the long term, performance management, processing business cases and ad-hoc analysis. You will be part of a business partner setup that plays an active role in supporting the decision makers throughout our organisation. The department is part of Distribution & Customer Solutions, which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields for the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to ?interact closely with the business in making very complex activities easily understandable ?ensure that value-creating activities are in focus ?contribute to creating transparency in earnings for the power and gas portfolio optimisation, the major gas sourcing contracts and trading and hedging activities ?be responsible for preparing the monthly management reporting and thereby for the quality of the financials reported to Group management ?help prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts. Furthermore, your key duties will be to participate in the improvement of our reporting and forecasting systems as well as handle the process and review of business cases. You will make ad-hoc analyses, eg on margins, costs, and net working capital, and facilitate communication between the business and other Finance departments. Your qualifications and core competences include that you ?hold a relevant master's degree in economics or finance and accounting ?preferably have experience from the financial sector ?preferably have experience with financial reporting and controlling ?are a super user of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint ?speak and write English fluently. Additionally, you have good communication skills and are able to present your results in an understandable and professional way to your stakeholders. It is essential that you work systematically, show responsibility and are able to deliver high-quality solutions. You have a result-oriented and value-adding approach to your work and a flair for working with complicated analytical challenges. You are able to create results through teamwork and develop good relationships to your colleagues and stakeholders. Furthermore, you are prepared to contribute during busy periods.
