Experienced profile keen on securing financial reporting and ensuring internal forecasting procedures Be a part of a dynamic and ambitious environment. Orifarm is currently looking for a competent financial controller to join us in the financial department. We offer a unique and challenging position. Primary tasks Orifarm is an international company, who constantly strives for improvement and optimization. When working in the financial department your general area of tasks will be dealing with internal financial processes. You will be part of securing international tax compliance and drive internal forecasting procedures. On a day to day basis you will secure reliable financial reporting (turnover, CM, inventory, costs etc.), and alignment of financial reporting in cooperation with the accounting department. Besides this, other tasks also include: •Collecting and consolidating input for quarterly rolling forecasting •Prepare presentations of quarterly forecasts •Controlling of business performance for sales performance, costs, net working capital and other relevant areas •Ensuring accurate daily financial reporting in close cooperation with internal BI department •Financial support in projects from a financial perspective •Maintaining and developing Transfer Pricing documentation in cooperation with external consultants/experts •Coordinate defense of international taxation during tax audits in close cooperation with external experts and the accounting department Who are we? The finance department counts 17 colleagues, whereof 4 are controllers. We always strive for high quality and helping each other out when necessary. Most of the colleagues in finance are situated in Odense, Denmark, and we stay in close contact with other country departments, mainly Germany and Czech Republic. Who are you? As a financial controller you have a higher education based on business economics, as well as relevant experience with the above listed tasks. Requirements: •Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including legal consolidation principles •Good basic business understanding •Proactive in your approach and possess a great drive combined with initiative and flexibility •Fluent in speaking and writing English •Higher education within finance and accounting, such as cand.merc.aud. •Experience with SAP BPC for forecasting and cost follow up is an advantage Our values The explorer spirit still characterizes Orifarm, although we have now become a large, international company since Hans and Birgitte Bøgh-Sørensen founded the company in 1994.
