Join us and become Financial Regulation Officer in either Legal – Financial Regulation, Wind Power – Governance & Compliance or Customers & Markets – Governance & Compliance: •as Financial Regulation Officer in Legal, your focus will be on the financial regulation compliance set-up needed to ensure consistent compliance across DONG Energy •as Financial Regulation Officer in Wind Power, your focus will be on implementing the financial regulation compliance set-up specifically for Wind Power and Thermal Power •as Financial regulation Officer in Customers & Markets, your focus will be on implementing the financial regulation compliance set-up specifically for Customers & Markets, Exploration & Production and Group Treasury & Risk Management. Legal – Financial Regulation is part of our Group functions, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Support, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. Wind Power – Governance & Compliance is part of Wind Power, which has 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. Customer & Markets – Governance & Compliance is part of Customers & Markets, which has 1,600 employees. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields to the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. Thermal Power has 900 employees. We own just below half of the thermal production capacity in Denmark and are at the forefront of the development within efficient use of biomass and reduction of the environmental impact through innovative bio-refining technologies. Exploration & Production has 700 employees. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte or Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to •ensure continued compliance with financial regulation applicable to DONG Energy, including MiFID I & II, EMIR, Dodd Frank, REMIT and MAD & MAR. •develop and maintain compliance guidelines, policies and documentation •conduct training courses regarding financial regulation •apply good practice and ensure timely compliance with legislation, guidelines and policies •manage reporting and controls regarding compliance with financial regulation •develop customer/counterpart agreements, information packages and the like needed due to financial regulation. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •are a fully qualified lawyer or cand.merc.jur. with experience within advice on or compliance with financial regulation (MiFID, EMIR, Dodd Frank, REMIT or MAD/MAR) •are service-oriented, resilient and trustworthy, and you work well within a team •are able to provide professional legal advice independently within financial regulation in a manner that translates complex regulation into easily understood messages. Experience from a compliance department with focus on financial regulation is an advantage, but is not a requirement.
