About the department
Corporate Treasury, which is globally responsible for managing Novo Nordisk’s financial risks, is divided in three departments: Financial Risk Management responsible for handling financial risks at Group level, Cash Management responsible for handling financial risks in affiliates, business areas and regions, and Insurance Risk Management responsible for handling Novo Nordisk’s global insurance programs.

You will join the Financial Risk Management department of 7 dedicated, engaged and highly skilled professionals located in our headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark.

The position
As Financial Risk Manager, you will be trusted to manage Novo Nordisk’s exchange rate and interest rate exposure, handle daily liquidity management, support decisions related to the capital structure of the group and conduct financial analysis to senior management.

You will follow developments in financial markets, be in frequent contact with our international banks and trade on behalf of Novo Nordisk. Due to the importance of the financial risk management activities you will interact frequently with key internal stakeholders. In addition, you will have global interface and you will deal with a number of projects related to financial risk management.

Qualifications
You have solid analytical skills and a strong academic background, e.g. an MSc in Economics or Finance with good results.

We imagine that you have some years of relevant experience from a corporation, an organisation or the financial sector including experience with financial markets.

You are a strong user of technology and a clear communicator, who is able to make complexities easy to understand and you excel in written and spoken English.

You are ambitious and a team player with strong collaboration skills. Finally, you are open for rotation and development across Corporate Treasury and potentially for Treasury positions outside of Denmark.
