We are looking for three Frontend Developer for our growing development team. The team works closely together with the DevOps team to deliver specialized applications utilizing the resources at the National Life Science Supercomputing Centre.

The team is relatively new and is growing rapidly, so you will make an impact in long term key decisions that need to be made along the way.

Primary areas of responsibility

As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in the development team which aims to expose new users to HPC functionalities. Your main tasks would include:
  • Designing and creating great user experiences
  • Creating and testing components for specific use cases
  • Creating a library of reusable components
  • Writing automated tests for components

Our expectations of you

You are expected to have experience with:
  • TypeScript
  • Frontend development framework, preferably Angular
  • Sassy CSS
  • CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Material design
  • REST API frameworks

It would be a plus to have experience with:
  • NodeJS
  • Agile development (Scrum, etc.)
  • Working with Open API 3.x
  • Designing domain specific solutions
  • Graphical design

The Danish National Life Science Supercomputing Center, Computerome is a HPC Facility specialized for Life Science. Users include Research groups from all Danish Universities and large international research consortiums as well as users from industry and the public Health Care Sector. They all benefit from the fast, flexible and secure infrastructure and the ability to combine different types of sensitive data and perform analysis. Computerome is physically installed at the DTU Risø campus and managed by a strong team of specialists from DTU. Computerome is the official supercomputer of ELIXIR Denmark, a member of ELIXIR, the European infratructure for biological information.
