You will be part of a creative and ambitious team consisting of front-end developers, digital designers and UX specialists in one of Denmark’s best IT workplaces. In addition, you will be working closely together with our other teams of dedicated architects and back-end developers who are responsible for system development and integration tasks. As a front-end developer you will be working with focus on specification, implementation and further development of e-commerce solutions. Your primary tasks will be to: •develop the market’s best e-commerce solutions •ensure the little details that lift the user experience •ensure performance and use the potential of the browser and ensure that indexing is first class •ensure flexibility and intelligent design in the form of responsive solutions •enter into professional discussions about methods, frameworks and approach to the development work •search for new trends and apply new technologies •have close discussions in project teams which include colleagues, customers and external participants Who are you? You are most of all enthusiastic about front-end code and have an understanding of UX and we expect that you are an experienced front-end developer. We find it important that you have a large drive as well as a high level of professional pride where you are constantly trying to improve the quality of your work. We expect to be challenged by your passion and curiosity about new technologies. It is a precondition that you have an understanding of HTML (5), CSS (3), conversion of Photoshop designs for HTML/CSS, JavaScript (jQuery), AJAX, browser optimisation and responsive design. In addition, it is an advantage if you have experience with CSS Preprocessors (SCSS or Less), JavaScript frameworks such as Knockout, Backbone, RequireJS, Mustache, Handlerbars, iQuery UI or similar as well as Visual Studio, Sublime Text or similar. You know how to work with dynamic pages such as .NET MVC and have an understanding of server-side functionality and know how to link front-end and back-end. You know what a modern browser contains and is continuously following the development within your field and like to test new techniques. As a developer, you are thorough, systematic and conscientious and you can work independently as well as in teams. We look forward to hearing from you.
