Vestas Offshore is looking for a Gear Specialist, Tech. Field Support for the Engineering Support department. The Engineering Support department provides overall technical support to the Vestas Offshore organisation. Moreover, the department participates in performance improvement and complex trouble shooting as well as participating in planning, executing, technical and financial audits of field implementation. Responsibilities: To support and develop Vestas Offshore capabilities within gearbox technology, we are looking for a Specialist with core competences in gearbox design, RCA, inspection, repair etc. The Specialist will be the technical responsible for internal technical support to all organisations in Vestas Offshore. You will also be the primary technical contact to the gearbox OEMs and Vestas Technology and Service Solutions. Besides gearbox related issues you must expect to work with other mechanical wind turbine components. Your daily tasks will be: •Technical support to V-OFS sites •Technical support to Customer Managers •Inspection of gearboxes •Participate in technical meeting with customers •Participate in RCA on mechanical components Qualifications: The right candidate has the following background: •Experience with gears - preferably from the wind industry. •Preferably experience from a similar position as technical support •A Bachelor's or Master's degree within Engineering Competencies: Moreover, you have the below competencies: •Ability to work independently •Flexible •Entrepreneurship •Ability to communicate and interact with people at different levels in the organisation •Excellent English skills - verbal as well as written What we offer: We offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring, dynamic, high performing and international work environment in the renewable energy sector.
