3Shape is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Global Academy Director to lead the product training function for our highly competitive solutions in the CAD/CAM dental market. 3Shape Academy consists of over 40 training specialists, who take pride in providing expert product training to resellers and customers in dental labs and clinics around the world. Key responsibilities: - You will create an outstanding and recognisable training experience for 3Shape resellers and customers - You will define and drive the internal and external communication of 3Shape Academy values and intentions - You will build relationships with our key global resellers, and engage with them to audit and optimize their fulfilment of training commitments in their local markets - You will work closely and persistently with our regionally-based Sales and Academy Managers to ensure delivery of exceptional product training to 3Shape’s resellers and customers around the world - You will manage a locally-based team of 8 product Trainers and 1 Coordinator to ensure optimal efficiency and prioritisation of resources - You will manage the Global Academy Program team (8 incl. 1 Manager), responsible for development and maintenance of universal product training programs and Academy-related tools used by our global team of approx. 40 Trainers - One of your key drivers is to ensure frequent and competent usage of 3Shape products at the dental clinics and labs at which they are installed - You will align closely with 3Shape Sales, Marketing and Product Strategy functions on initiatives to secure commercial success. Your Profile: - A background in after-sales services, preferably in a dental, medical or technical sphere - 5+ years of leadership experience - Proven people management skills - Experience within the field of training and education - A commercial focus and sharp business acumen - An outgoing and persistent personality - Fluent in English and additional major languages will be a plus - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills - An international approach and outlook - Able to travel up to 50 days per year - You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and enjoy meeting the challenges associated with working in a successful and rapidly expanding global company.
