And can you call yourself a strong procurement professional? Then you could be our new Global Category Manager for Marketing services and materials in Danfoss Procurement. You will work with global supplier management, fulfilment of procurement targets and support divisional/business needs with strategic and tactical sourcing activities. The position is based at our Danfoss office in Kolding or Nordborg, Denmark. Develop and implement global category strategies As Global Category Manager you will have a wide range of contacts both internally in the organisation as well as with your suppliers. You will be driving a common agenda across different business units and can therefore look forward to an extremely varied and challenging job where your main tasks will be to: •Take the lead on defining and executing a global strategy for procurement of marketing services and materials •Prepare a roadmap of activities for achieving procurement targets for cost optimization and supplier consolidation •Initiate and drive process optimisation together with marketing departments in Danfoss divisions •Lead negotiations of regional/global contracts •Cooperate and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders both locally and globally To succeed in the job you will need to thrive in juggling priorities and navigating the field of multiple suppliers and stakeholders. Skilled procurement or marketing proessional You have a commercial background and a proven track record within procurement or category management. Experience with procurement of marketing services or indirect procurement in general is a plus but not a requirement. Alternatively, you have been successful in working with marketing (e.g. as a marketing manager) and would like to work with procurement. In any case, you are goal-oriented and proactive and you have strong communication and project management skills. You have an analytical approach and you like working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
