In Danfoss Procurement we are responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing activities on behalf of our factories globally covering several million Euros spend across our global categories. The position is based at Danfoss’ headquarter in Nordborg, Denmark. Develop and implement global category strategies As Global Category Manager – IT you will have a wide range of contacts both internally in the organisation as well as externally with your suppliers. You manage the important strategic IT suppliers and you will be responsible for supporting and developing the IT software procurement category strategy which is aligned with the overall IT strategy. Your job will be extremely varied and challenging and your main tasks will be to: •lead negotiations of regional/global contracts •cooperate and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders both locally and globally •implement the category strategy, follow up and monitor the implementation •identify global as well as regional saving opportunities •report on KPIs, follow up and secure that KPIs are obtained •lead quarterly supplier review meetings with the strategic IT software suppliers To become successful in the job you thrive juggling priorities and navigating within the field of multiple suppliers and stakeholders. Skilled IT procurement specialist with strong negotiating skills You have a commercial background and a proven track record within procurement or category management, and you are used to managing stakeholders. Experience with procurement of IT contracts, specifically IT software and category management, is a requirement. You have proven yourself as a successful negotiator, and you are experienced with negotiating global, business critical contracts with significant value and importance. You are goal-oriented and proactive and you have strong communication and project management skills. You have an analytical approach and you like working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
