For the Global Procurement Department in Denmark, we are looking for a Global Commodity Manager in the Nacelle Module with responsibility for Service Cranes and C-Parts Commodity. What are my responsibilities? Global responsibility for the total Purchasing Volume of the Service Cranes and C-Parts Commodity Define and implement the Global Strategy for the assigned commodity Organization, controlling and measurement of pooling and procurement activities in a managed Global team striving for optimum conditions in an excellent supplier base through collaborative and targeted activities Coordinate and manage a virtual/disciplinary team globally to achieve optimum conditions and savings through collaborative, targeted activities and to increase profit from global and cross-sector sourcing Lead the global Commodity team by implementing and communicating the strategy to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials Define and implement negotiation concepts and strategies to maximize savings. Negotiate regional frame contracts; define core assortment; document frame contracts in relevant Supplier Management IT-systems Apply the usage of eProcurement tools (eRfX, eAuction/ eBidding) to improve the Procurement processes and efficiency Generate, document and implement savings; plan, monitor and report on relevant KPIs and ensure the target achievement within the respective Commodity in the region to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent. Perform Supplier Management, Qualification and Development to ensure an optimum supply chain. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Bachelor+ degree (Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Electricals ) as an educational background. 7+ years of professional experience in a international environment within the areas of strategic procurement or supply chain management. You are an experienced negotiator with a proven track record and strong analytical skills. You have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments. As a person you are highly motivated, open minded and able to work independently. You have excellent English skills both orally and in writing, and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office tools. You prefer working in groups, including groups with different backgrounds and origins. Take responsibility and work towards planning targets, overcoming obstacles, setbacks and uncertainty In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
