- ensuring manpower at our offshore wind projects Job ID: 201653 Location: Vejle Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full time For our Offshore Project Site Execution, we are looking for a structured and strong Global Forecast Planner to ensure correct and timely manpower allocation across our portfolio of offshore wind projects. The position of Global Forecast Planner is newly established in the organization, and therefore you will have wide influence on developing the job What are my responsibilities? Your main responsibility will be strategic planning of manpower, monitoring implementation of initiatives and providing management with recommendations for corrective actions. You will work closely with our Global Master Planner who does all the short term (0-12 months) detailed planning, and our Forecaster who provides you with all the data on what the business is requesting. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: • Evolving the overall plan for the use of manpower covering the next 3-5 years • Risk- and portfolio management of initiatives taken as part of the strategic planning • Monthly reporting to management with recommendations on corrective actions • Development of tools and processes needed to support the strategic planning • Stakeholder management – Aligning the Forecast and plan with other parts of the business What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have several years of experience from a planning function, dealing with a variety of commodities/categories in a large multinational company, preferably within wind power, production, offshore, marine, construction or other industries • You take a long term perspective and plan accordingly • You are structured and pragmatic in your way of dealing with issues and challenges • You are used to define and improve business-related processes, and it feels natural for you to take the lead in implementing these • You have the ability to communicate and interact with colleagues at all levels in a large and multicultural organization. Furthermore, you are fluent in English, orally and in writing • You have strong MS office (Excel) capabilities In this position you must expect up to 30 travel days per year.
