Do you have experience with additive manufacturing, prototyping and related design technologies? Have you worked to embed these practices into product development and support engineers to apply these tools? Do you have understanding and experience with the key technologies? Then Danfoss has an outstanding opportunity for you. Danfoss is building its expertise and competence in additive design and manufacturing across the group and we are looking for a person to work with these experts and lead a group wide initiative to maximize the impact from these technologies in our new product development and production. The challenge As both senior expert and leader, you will be expected to work with the experts across the different segments in the Danfoss group to build a world class capability in applying additive design, prototyping and manufacturing. Initially we are focusing on our new product development and longer term on manufacturing. You will be responsible together with the segment team members to identify and select our key partners and suppliers, advise our design and engineering groups in applying these tools to increase speed and improve agility in our product development, help select machines and provide technical input, as well as set up projects and pilots with segments to push the boundaries of what we can do today in design, product development and production. We offer you a challenging position where you get to use your experience fully to build and establish competence and best practice across our group within Additive design, prototyping and manufacturing. You will lead a cross segment team of experts. You will work across our group with many different businesses and development teams. The position As Global Head Additive Design & Manufacturing, you will answer to our Danfoss Group Innovation Board and be based in the Danfoss Business System - your role will be to: •Lead a cross segment team of experts •Ensure systematic use of Additive design and manufacturing technologies in product development projects •Build and make Additive design and manufacturing competences & capabilities available to all R&D centers through training and a network of partners and suppliers •Establish necessary cross business initiatives & communities to enable rapid adoption of the technology and support exchange of experience. We expect that you •Have hands on experience in working with Additive design & manufacturing (for example: Leading internal specialist group in a company, AM machine builders, AM service providers, institutes with focus on AM) •Have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English (orally and in writing) •Have a high level of ambition and a strong record for achieving impact •Can connect with people at all levels, and are comfortable in coaching & training others •Possess strong analytical and project management skills.
