As Head of Supplier Quality you will manage, supervise and operate our Supplier Quality organization in close cooperation with the Chief Procurement Officer and the Head of Global Quality Management. The role demands an overall strategic approach, combined with a strong operative interest. You will ensure that Supplier Quality takes a pro-active and offensive role in the quality performance of suppliers and their deliveries. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record of Supplier Quality management results, preferably from the automotive or renewable energy sector. You will be a member of the Management Group within Siemens Wind Power Procurement in Brande, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? · Implement monitoring, controlling and reporting of quality performance of suppliers, their deliveries and SQ performance within the Division. · Provide supplier performance information as input for a cross-functional sourcing team. Provide all SQ input for ToCo-driven risk-minimizing sourcing decisions and be an active member of the sourcing team. · Functional and line management responsibility for a strategic and operational Supplier Quality organization with around 65 employees in Denmark and 30 employees in regions. · Identify suppliers with potential risks from a SQ perspective and identify SQ measures for supplier development. Development of collaboration with suppliers to support a "quality partnership". · Initiate division-specific SQ-related improvement programs for suppliers. · Ensure efficient supplier quality work in the region. · Coordinate definition, implementation and maintenance of cross-functional prevention-oriented SQ-related processes, methods and responsibilities within the division and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and quality requirements to meet business and quality targets of the division. · Coordinate the definition of division-specific competency requirements for SQ functions. · Identify training needs for SQ-related processes as well as develop, maintain and roll out training concepts. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or similar and preferably further education within Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Engineering. · You have minimum 8-10 years of experience within Supplier Quality from a multi-national company with similar areas of responsibility. · Technical knowledge and strong management experience within Supplier Quality is a prerequisite in this position as is international experience from large and global organizations. · You have excellent leadership skills as well as a commercial mindset. · You have strong English skills both orally and in writing, and if you speak/write Danish or German this will only be an advantage. · You have a structured and flexible approach. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
