You become part of the department Global Direct Accounts - Industry where you join 2 global key account managers. You each have between 5 and 8 of our largest industrial customer accounts, whom you attend to at a global scale. Your colleagues are based in Bjerringbro, Denmark, whereas you may work from one of our many offices in Europe. You collaborate with your colleagues to become an integrated part of your customers’ development work and supply chain. The team also works to professionalise our account plans to guarantee a professional approach to each client. You refer to the Director of Global Direct Accounts, based in Bjerringbro, Denmark. You will be responsible for managing and growing your portfolio of global key accounts and accountable for initiating activities and taking actions that will grow sales to a sustainable and profitable business. Moreover, you are the team leader in relation to the customer and responsible for setting the Grundfos sales team to meet the customer’s global needs. Thus, you cooperate internally with local key account managers and local sales colleagues and externally with key decision-makers within the customers’ global organization, typically category sourcing, development, supply and quality teams. Your job entails negotiating the global framework and supply agreements as well as determining the global pricing level and agreements. Furthermore, you maintain strategic account plans to include key opportunities and actions, and you make sure the business is profitable, monitoring profitability performance and initiating action plans in non-profit areas. Throughout, you ensure internal alignment and global implementation in Grundfos to secure a profitable business and a maximised Share of Wallet. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? Preferably, you have a technical/engineering background with strong commercial skills and experience making you an expert within the industrial OEM business. You have solid experience in working with technical and global sales as well as a well-developed business understanding allowing you to sell and negotiate on an executive level, both internally and externally. It is essential that you are fluent in English, and other languages are a plus. As a person, you manage diversity well, and your drive and passion are contagious. Being a great networker, you manoeuvre well in a large global matrix organization and are able to drive progress and achieve high quality results. You are also persuasive and an excellent communicator with good presentation skills who knows when to sell and when to be the customer’s trusted advisor, as you will be working with senior counterparts. This entails taking into account their local needs and having technical discussions while keeping in mind the business aspects. You have a strategic perspective on your business activity, yet you are hands on when needed, always eager to serve our customers by taking personal responsibility. And finally, you must be able to travel 70-100 days a year globally.
