Would you like to set the direction for our global payroll & benefits set-up?

At Grundfos, we are looking to redefine and standardise the way we manage payroll & benefits (P&B) across the world to support the growth of our company.

That's why we need you to head the global transformation of our P&B organization and ensure smooth payroll & benefits and time & attendance operations for 18,000 employees working in more than 50 countries world-wide.

"You will lead a highly motivated and talented team of P&B professionals currently working with a fairly fragmented global set-up. Here, you'll be free to implement the tools, systems and procedures necessary to strengthen the P&B organization from a global perspective," says Jose Manuel Ballesteros Guisado, Senior HR Director, HR Services.

Transform our global payroll & benefits agenda

As the head of the Global Payroll & Benefits organization, you will be responsible for the daily operations on the area worldwide. Furthermore, you will get full autonomy to develop, drive and implement the global P&B operations strategy. The goal is a modern, efficient and standardized global set-up with an integrated data architecture that allows for remote administration. More specifically, you will:

• Manage, train, coach and develop the Global P&B team consisting of 6 regional P&B managers and 1 project manager
• Identify root cause for payroll system issues together with the operational teams, assess risks and implement mitigation plans to minimize future occurrence
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, HRIS, Master Data and external vendors to identify, develop and implement tools and systems for an efficient system and process architecture
• Develop new processes and procedures together with your team and the global HR Service Centre
• Implement country-specific models together with the regional manager and ensure the highest possible level of integration
• Ensure successful change management and build a culture for continuous improvement throughout the global P&B organization

You can choose to work from our HQ in Bjerringbro, Denmark, or our office in Budapest, Hungary, and you get to travel approx. 20 days a year.

Organizational transformation and payroll management experience

To succeed in this position, it is essential that you:

• Have experience implementing a larger transformation in an organization related to systems and administration, perhaps as a consultant
• Have experience as a manager of finance, payroll or HRIS with thorough knowledge of payroll & benefits and time & attendance processes and information systems
• Have vendor management experience
• Can communicate in English in both speech and writing
