If yes, a position as Global Project Manager in the Obesity Project Office in Global Marketing is open for immediate placement. The Obesity Project Office is seeking an independent and driven Global Project Manager with demonstrated project management skills, interested in working closely with Regulatory, Global Development, and Medical Affairs. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new therapy area for Novo Nordisk, to drive the company`s aspiration to improve patient outcomes and establish leadership for Novo Nordisk within Obesity. About the department The Obesity Project Office is part of the Saxenda® VP area under the GLP-1 Portfolio CVP in Global Marketing. We are responsible for driving and ensuring execution of our medium to long-term Life Cycle Management strategy for Saxenda® and Obesity according to the Product Development Plan (PDP). Working in the Obesity Project Office is a global task, and you will need to enjoy working effectively and collaboratively across most functional areas of the company. The role will involve 15-25 days of international travel a year. The job Your role in the Obesity Project Office will be to plan and execute Saxenda® Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities, as well as develop and implement medium to long-term strategies and tactics for the Obesity area. You will also be responsible for providing commercial input to the next generation of obesity pipeline products, and to provide evidence generation supporting Senior Management and Project Management decisions. You will work closely with the Obesity management team, the Saxenda® brand team as well as headquarter colleagues from Medical affairs, Regulatory and Global Development. You will be reporting to the Obesity Project Office Director. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, marketing and product development experience as well as a good understanding of governance processes and stakeholder management. Your academic skills should be in natural sciences, business administration, engineering, or similar combined with exceptional pharmaceutical understanding, and you have at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The position requires that you are comfortable with and have demonstrated the ability to manage high complex projects, and the ability to prioritize on deliverables reaching timely and high quality results. To successfully handle responsibilities in the position, solid drug development as well as strategic insight must be combined with an analytical mind-set and outstanding networking and communication skills.Your development is important to us.
