Main Purpose:
This position is the sourcing commodity expert responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategy and plans to improve competitive position and achieve business goals in assigned categories.
This position reports to Procurement Leader, DuPont Nutrition & Health
This position could be based in Copenhagen or Brabrand.

Job Functions:

• Work with businesses and regions to understand and analyze needs and to select reliable global suppliers to deliver high quality and lowest cost products and services. 
• Develop and gain alignment on sourcing strategy for these portfolios 
• Drive the proper use of sourcing tools, process and strategies in achieve business goals.
• Works with a global team to negotiate, prepare and execute procurement agreements.
• Develop and drive performance metrics in their area of responsibility to ensure all business needs are being met. Benchmark externally to ensure quality, price, service and procurement processes meet world class standards.
• Manage supplier performance.
• Work with R&D and suppliers to develop new solutions driving innovation and growth.

Job Qualifications

• Four year degree in sciences or engineering or equivalent experience.
• Five to ten years of food industry procurement experience is preferred, pharma or biotech industry experience are alternative options.
• Ability to travel locally and internationally up to 10% of the time.
