Global Product Manager – Industrial Automation & Communication Protocols
Do you have the technical skills and commercial flair to transform our customers’ spoken and latent needs into product specifications and help position Danfoss Drives as market leader? Do you have a strong understanding of how PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, OPC-UA, MQTT, 5G, etc. will impact the future business?

Challenge status quo, expand your horizon and make it happen
Danfoss and our products are built on technology - the science of today is the technology of tomorrow.

You will be involved in development and direction settings of the communication protocols, technologies utilized in an application to provide solutions that meet our customer’s needs. You have the global ownership for entire product lifecycle from specification to design, implementation and validation. In this process, you will facilitate the communication with our customers, external partner and cooperate on the design. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop and implement Industrial Ethernet Protocols in our products
• Commercial accountability for business results.
• Contribute to and influence a market-based pricing structure for your product portfolio.
• Identify main improvement potentials within your product portfolio, technically as well as commercially.
• Evaluate category-specific project ideas in terms of strategic fit and overall business impact.
• Collaborate with other product managers and build-up a strong competence network within your product area.
• Consult the sales team with in-depth product knowledge and drive value selling activities. 

Use your talent to enhance communication and become responsible for all new coming products in Danfoss Drives. It is a team effort, but you are responsible for the success, why you must take the lead and make it happen!

Open-minded with experience within industrial automation and communication  
There are more ways to this position and we do not have the perfect recipe, but you probably hold a master’s degree in engineering and have a strong business understanding. You have some years of experience from a similar position, where you have gained a strong knowledge concerning costumers needs and expectations. Most importantly, you have solid knowledge in Industrial Ethernet within industrial applications and you work persistently to achieve your goals. Knowledge of PLC programming is an asset.

On a personal note, you are eager to learn and have the ability to embrace new tools and methods fast. You are known for your open mind and communicative approach to colleagues and customers, enabling you to build relations and cooperate across cultures and geography. At the same time, you pay attention to detail and have a sense of quality permitting you to come up with the right solutions, and you are willing to make the necessary decisions. Since we work in a global company, it is a necessity that you master English both written and spoken. German will be an advantage, but not a must.
