Global Program Manager – Product Line Procurement

As a Global Program Manager in the FLSmidth you will be the driver to create and implement infrastructure required to anchor newly created Product Line Procurement as a key strategic function in FLSmidth Procurement. The position will be based in Valby. This role will be critical to the success of FLSmidth’s long-term strategy of becoming the productivity provider number 1 in both Cement and Mining.

You will be part of our centralized Group Procurement organization, a very engaged & professional organization working globally and across all industries and regions in FLSmidth.

 

Set the direction and execute - to deliver success

You will be part of the global Product Line Procurement team and and proactively interact with relevant stakeholders to streamline interfaces for seamless integration into the overall work of working.

 

In detail, it will be your job to:

• Drive development and deployment of processes, systems, tools, structures by applying a forward-looking approach with high focus on operational efficiency through robotic process automation and digitalisation
• Represent Product Line Procurement in all relevant work groups within Group Procurement, Product Line Management, Engineering, IT etc.
• Ensure Product Procurement dimension is embedded in global ERP and other IT systems full operational integration of Product Sourcing Plans
• Monitor progress and actively interfere when deviations occur to achieve set functional and individual targets
• Lead continuous improvement of the new function in a dynamic and global environment to ensure highest business alignment and relevance
• Act as coach and guide to Product Line Procurement team members in daily execution of their role
• Create transparency and visibility of Product Line Procurement to organization by means of dashboards and reporting

 

You have an ability to adapt to a global matrix organisation with stakeholders at different levels, why we also expect you to have strong cooperation skills and to be proficient in English as well as understanding cultural differences and communication styles.

As a person you are solution oriented, pragmatic, engaging nature and strong at building alliances and followership. You can work with stakeholders across different organizational levels, areas and cultures.

 

• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
• Relevant Candidate/Master degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
• Service minded

 

You can foresee up to 60 travel days per year, however, the travel can be well planned and flexible.
