Do you have exhaustive experience with project management and virtual management? And would a position with focus on project management and import/export compliance in a global context appeal to you? Then you could be the new Global Project Manager for import/export compliance in Danfoss Global Services Logistics. You are offered a unique job opportunity where you will get the chance to put your mark on Danfoss’ global import/export compliance strategy. The position will be located in Rødekro. Compliance strategy development and establishment of local/global procedures Reporting to the Director of Logistic Concepts, your mission will be to implement Danfoss’ strategy for global import/export compliance establishing local/global procedures within the area. This including heading the implementation of GTS (Global Trade System) in SAP to support the governance of critical Master data (tariff code and Country of Origin). With your IT overview and solid project management experience you ensure that best practice is applied globally and well anchored in the operating organization. The global project manager must be a strong networker and coordinator that supports our professional compliance managers in developing, aligning and sharing policies, tools and procedures. You will be the person that bridges the challenges on import/export compliance and identifies how to close the gaps towards central functions like corporate tax, IT, etc. The position entails approx. 20 travel days per year. You will join our small team of global project managers with a common mission to optimise Danfoss’ logistic setup from inbound flow of goods from supplier to factories, to outbound flow from factories to distribution centres. Here the import/export compliance is a new important focus area. Other areas of responsibility will be: •Project management and business case preparation for other optimization project •Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget •Distribution network and Distribution Center footprint optimisation •Sourcing evaluation of logistic services (make/buy) Strong process mind set and project management skills You have experience working as a Logistics Consultant or similar and have backed this with a relevant BSc or MSc in Supply Chain Management. Your track record shows successful project management experience, developing and implementing new ways of working within an international organisation. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and IT/SAP is an advantage. Moreover, you possess the drive and the communication skills to lead and create results. You are characterised by an entrepreneurial spirit, an analytical approach and a global holistic mindset. You excel in maintaining strong relationships on every level and have profound English skills.
