We are looking for a Global QHSE Manager as our current manager is moving on to new challenges within our organization. The new Global QHSE Manager will lead the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental function for VIKING’s production facilities in Denmark, Thailand, Norway and Bulgaria as well as the global network of VIKING owned servicing stations. VIKING is committed to raising the bar for safety. Your role is critical to ensure the quality of VIKING’s life-saving equipment as our safety solutions are often the last means of rescue in an emergency situation. Primary duties and responsibilities Develop, implement, maintain and manage the QHSE programs and policies at all VIKING locations worldwide, consistent with current standards and VIKING values. Ensure operational compliance globally to internal procedures as well as external and legal requirements according to ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO14001. Maintain VIKING Management System to ensure that quality arrangements are developed, implemented, audited and reviewed throughout the product lifecycle. Responsible for the working environment of all site operations according to OHSAS18001. Ensure ISO14001 management meets the requirements of the business and that all current procedures and practices are sufficiently robust. Develop and maintain VIKING’s QHSE information management system, enabling timely and accurate data entry and reporting of internal and external incidents according to company, customer, regulatory and industry requirements. Qualifications A degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical, is required along with a minimum of 3-5 years of international experience from a similar position in the marine or offshore industry. Experience with management systems, which ideally meet ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 standards, is a must. The Global QHSE Manager is based at headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark as part of the Global Technical Operations referring to the Executive Vice President. The position will involve approx. 20-60 travel days per year.
