But now we want to be even better! We’re looking for an outgoing Global Sales Manager to our Exhaust and Combustion Sales department in Aalborg.

So, what are you going to do today?

Increase sales and develop new business

As our new Global Sales manager, you will report to the department Manager and become part of a team with skilled and experienced colleagues. You will have a significant impact on the sales turnover and margin. In the role you will collaborate with a variety of internal and external parties in order to realize our sales. (e.g. customers, operation, sales companies, product center, engineering). You will be travelling around 70 days a year.

You will have the following responsibilities;

Key Account
·Effective planning and launch of new product offers
·Customer visits including promotions, presentations and negotiations
·Developing sales and marketing activities, ensuring market penetration of the products
·Search, select and develop new customers
·Closing and systematically handing over the “order” to project managers and order execution
·Sharing of market and customer knowledge with the local sales companies
·Participation in exhibitions and fairs
·Key stakeholder to new product and solution development to Product Management

 
Sales
·Sales process training and education of colleagues and external customers
·Support the local sales companies in the quotation and order process
·Sales budget responsible
·Sales through Alfa Laval’s sales companies and sales support
·Launch manager of new product offering to the market
·Utilise technology and digital opportunities to support customer and sales development
·General sales support in the department/team and internal sales
·Preparing sales quotations and documentation based on incoming commercial and technical specifications and follow up
·General sales support

 
To be a success as our new Global Area Manager, you drive profitable growth and increase margin with focus on customer satisfaction creating long lasting customer relations.

Commercial and result oriented teamplayer
We are looking for an experienced commercial profile within technical sales with commercial focus and a relevant education (Export Engineering, Mechanical Engineer or Marine engineer).

You have established your career within the marine business or energy sector. Furthermore, good written and verbal communication skills in English is essential.

You are a team player in a proactive, service minded and flexible way. Personally, building and maintaining good relationships and collaborations both internal and external comes natural to you. You have a winning mentality with a focus on results and strive to make things better with a high level of responsibility and prioritization.
