A unique opportunity to be a part of a project based procurement organization, working with company critical procurement / sourcing projects. There are long standing relationships with many of the suppliers, but focus is also on constantly ensuring the right portfolio of suppliers through sourcing activities. You will take the lead in your projects, working closely with key stakeholders from the business and to some degree offering your technical insight. Join a team of Project Managers in Global Procurement You will be part of a global operating team in the Controls division in PVG, currently consisting of 6 Project Managers distributed in Denmark, USA, China and India. All Project Managers are responsible for end to end project management, with strong focus on ensuring complex resourcing projects with cost reduction effects and timely deliveries. Also, there is a Procurement Excellence team ensuring that everyone always strives for Excellence. Global Procurement in Danfoss Power Solutions consists of 125 people in total, and collaborates with Danfoss Group Procurement. Lead global resourcing and outsourcing as well as new development projects You will be working both cross-functionally and globally in close collaboration with suppliers and internal functions. The project teams involve stakeholders from several parts of the organization, including Engineering, Operations and Global Procurement in Danfoss. The key challenge will be to deliver on time and with the agreed cost savings, without jeopardizing quality. Some of your key responsibilities will be to: •Identify, manage and lead complex procurement projects •Manage resourcing and outsourcing projects on a cross-functional level and across different divisions •Identify and lead the projects from idea generation and planning, to implementation and verification of the defined goals, and finally following up on the achievement of objectives Solid procurement project management experience •You have a degree in Engineering or another related field •Further, you have a minimum of 3-5 years of procurement or related project management experience •Knowledge and experience within the technical industry. It is an advantage that you know about Electronics and working with Contract Manufacturers •Solid verbal and written communications skills in English is a prerequisite •Up to 5-10% of travel activities must be expected With your excellent project management skills, you have the drive and energy to motivate and lead a project team and continuously ensure progress.
