We are a very fast expanding business and we are ramping up and strengthening our organisation within the Global Supply Chain Management. The planning processes are essential in the scale up and anticipation must be at the very best. We are looking for competent and dedicated people to reinforce our leadership team, from supply chain specialists to most senior leadership positions with world-class experience from Sourcing/Procurement, Process/Project engineering, Manufacturing and Logistics, possibly with recognized experience in a fast growing environment.

Our HQ is in Aarhus, Denmark, while our locations are spread across Denmark, UK (Warrington/Isle of Wight), US (East Coast), Japan and Taiwan.

Tasks & responsibilities: You will… 

…take a leadership role in our expanding Global Supply Chain Management organisation where exciting and demanding challenges are awaiting. You will contribute to the overall supply chain management strategy, assuring that everything is delivered to the customers in high quality, on time and according to budget. You will work to increase the supply chain management competencies in the organisation and contribute to an organisational culture that delivers results through team work and trusting relationships.
We have a range of positions to offer. Depending on you experience you will:  

• Provide relevant input to strategic review of the manufacturing strategies and footprint 
• Manage a supplier base strategy to leverage the global material and procurement utilisation across the company 
• Assess and manage the supplier base to ensure flawless launch in terms of quality, supply chain, financial risk and contractual discipline 
• Facilitate and improve the collaboration between the operations and business teams to implement the appropriate strategy for both business units 
• Lead complex CapEx projects to ensure flawless delivery in terms of cost, quality, time and compliance to specifications 
• Assess and manage multiple risk factors along the supply chain, e.g. currency risks, supplier risks, regulatory risks 
• Drive process improvement programs, embed Six Sigma thinking and ensure a high quality and safety culture 
• Optimise a LEAN organisational structure and execute a rigorous talent management and succession planning process 

Skills & experience: Our future GSCM leaders… 

…have a minimum of 10 years’ experience from a global organisation within the energy sector or an industry with complex products and supply chain setup. You thrive in an international organisation with multiple nationalities and manufacturing facilities across different locations. It is important that you have excellent leadership skills enabling you to think strategically and plan long-term. You have a high drive, excellent collaboration skills and can influence internal and external stakeholders in a positive way.   We expect that you:  

• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and/or technical management, combined when possible with a degree in business administration 
• Have a pragmatic, data driven, problem-solving attitude 
• Effectively manage interfaces across departments in a project-driven organisation 
• Are open-minded and comfortable operating in a multi-cultural matrix organisation 
• Can build ongoing relationships with key stakeholders to create wide-scoped opportunities 
• Certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt, or Master Black Belt would be an advantage
