Pipeline Management & Strategy is a part of Market & Project Development, where all our offshore wind projects are developed and optimised until they are mature enough to be handed over to our execution department. Pipeline Management & Strategy is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. About the graduate programme As a graduate, you complete a 24­month programme in which you will participate in a training programme along with the rest of the graduate batch 2015. During the training programme, you will participate in six graduate courses. Our graduate programme is considered the first step in our high­potential developing programmes. You will develop yourself both personally and professionally, and your ability to be project­oriented and analytical as well as your problem­solving skills will be strengthened. As part of your daily assignments, you will have the opportunity to rotate within different departments in the business area. You will have the possibility of influencing your assignments to match your qualifications and interests. Furthermore, the programme will give you a strong network among the rest of the graduates in the organisation. Your tasks and responsibilities You will be involved in several on­going projects and ad hoc tasks where your main responsibilities are to: - conduct pipeline and strategy optimisation analysis - assist with project and pipeline reporting to top management - be responsible for continuous improvement projects in the department - build an understanding of and participate in the selection and prioritisation of the development projects in our pipeline - coordinate and lead smaller work streams with stakeholders within and outside the department. The second rotation will take place in Market Development, where you will assist in identifying new project opportunities in our core markets and contribute to developing our market entry strategies for selected new markets. In Market Development, we analyse the commercial attractiveness of new opportunities and markets, considering political and regulatory changes in the relevant markets. We therefore work closely with regulatory affairs, other project development functions and the M&A department, depending on whether we are looking at green field development or acquisition targets. Your profile You have recently graduated with a master's degree within finance or business administration and have delivered excellent results. You have a maximum of 12 months of relevant professional experience, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
